the day leading up to this show....

- we woke up tired/hung over/very hungry after 2 minutes of sleep
- drove to freo, drunk beer and did touristy walking around with some fine young ledez
- started back towards the homestead to pick up gear
- he horr (the van) burst a hose on the way
- we spent 15 minutes trying to find the engine
- engine found
- another 15 trying to figure out what happened
- stranger pulled over and helped/made us look like sissies
- the whole time im trying to think how to solve this case WITHOUT calling the car hire place
- called the car hire place
- couldnt get a tow until 9pm that night (cheapy car rental - 08 92779404)
- organised to pick up a replacement ride (40 - 50 km's away from us)
- Sofia (champ) asked her brother (champ) to pick me up and drive me to the car hire place
- got picked up and left the guys with 'he horr'
- grabbed the replacement car with no fuss
- "hastily" returned to the van to find very bored and delerious bandmates
- screamed home to change and pick up gear
- packed the (now much smaller) car with a bands worth of gear and 6 people
- Raced to the venue and got lost on the way but didnt tell the band
- found the venue!
- unloaded the car
- walked inside JUST as the band before us were playing their last song!!!!
- rocked out
- went home and freaking slept
